Camera firmware tracks and support status
The current firmware for a camera depends on which track or platform that exact model rides, and no vendor publishes that answer the same way: Axis decides tracks per product, Bosch ships one version per platform, Hanwha ships latest-only per family. This table holds the current answer for 47 common models across all three vendors, with release dates, published checksums, and support status, each row linked to the vendor's own page and stamped with the date it was last checked.

This is a research reference, not a patching directive, and it is not a substitute for the vendor's own page: open the linked page and confirm before you flash anything. Rows state what the vendors publish publicly, dated August 3, 2026. When a re-check fails, the last verified value stays in place, marked, with its original date; the table is never blanked and never guesses. No firmware binaries are hosted, mirrored, or redistributed here; every download link belongs to the vendor, and Axis downloads additionally sit behind the vendor's own sign-in. How each vendor structures firmware
Axis: parallel tracks, decided per product
Axis maintains one operating system on parallel tracks: an active track where new features land, and long-term support tracks frozen every two years that receive security and stability patches for about five years. Which tracks a camera is eligible for is decided per product, not per chip, and the only authoritative source is the model's own support page, which lists every supported track with its current version and a SHA-256 checksum per download. Release dates are published separately in the vendor's release notes. Discontinued Axis products keep receiving their track's patches for years, and the product page states the exact software end date. Bosch: one version per platform
Every Bosch camera belongs to a Common Product Platform (CPP) generation, and firmware ships per platform: one current public version per platform, no parallel tracks. The public download area lists each platform's firmware with a checksum, SHA-256 on current platforms, SHA-1 or none on the oldest, but no release dates; those live in the release letter PDFs. Platforms age through published stages, feature development ends, then maintenance, then security fixes only, with month-level dates per platform. Two things make Bosch the easiest vendor to misread. The model number does not encode the platform, so the mapping has to come from the vendor's knowledge base, and the same family name can span two platforms. And the Bosch video business now operates under the Keenfinity Group with the IQSIGHT product brand, so vendor pages are mid-migration and old links break.
Hanwha: latest-only, per family
Hanwha Vision publishes no named tracks: each model has exactly one current firmware, downloadable from the product page, with the version and build date encoded in the file name. One binary frequently serves a whole hardware family and is named after a representative sibling, so the file for your dome may carry a bullet model's name; that is normal, not a wrong file. No checksums are published for any model. Lifecycle is a Discontinued flag with a replacement model where one exists, and no dates; the stated policy is security firmware for up to five years after end of life, and discontinued models do keep receiving builds. Some lines carry mandatory intermediate builds and one-way versions that cannot be rolled back, which is a campaign-planning fact as much as a download fact.
How to read the table
Patching standards for camera fleets have to be track-relative, not version-absolute. A camera on an LTS or maintenance-mode platform is not behind because it lacks the newest major version; it is behind if it trails the latest release on its own track. "Not on 12.x" is not a finding. "Three patch releases behind its own track" is. The same logic applies to Bosch platforms in maintenance mode: current for that platform is exactly the version listed here, and nothing newer will ever apply.
If you are planning the upgrade itself, the firmware campaign planner turns a fleet, a window calendar, and these per-vendor pass rules into calendar time, window count, and engineer hours.
How this list is maintained
Every row is read from the vendor's public page and re-checked on a schedule; the row carries the date of its last successful check, and the dataset carries the date the whole table last verified clean, currently August 3, 2026. When a vendor page changes shape or a check fails, the last verified value stays, visibly marked, rather than being replaced by a blank or a guess. Bosch release dates deserve one caveat: the vendor's download table publishes no date column, so dates for Bosch rows come from its release letters and can trail a new release by a few days.
The table deliberately links rather than mirrors. Firmware redistribution is prohibited by vendor license terms, Axis states this explicitly, and a reference table that hosted binaries would also be a reference table you should not trust. The vendor's page is the source of truth; this page is the cross-vendor index that the vendors themselves do not publish.

A table answers the question for one model on one day. A fleet asks it continuously: which cameras are behind the latest release on their own track, which are on platforms whose support has ended, and which changed firmware last night without a change record.
